What do you wear if you are volunteering at a golf fundraiser?

I am volunteering for a golf fundraiser in September in the Northeast. I have never been to a golf event, I’ve just seen them on TV. I will not be golfing, but I will be helping set up and mingling. Do I wear sporty golf clothes? Do I wear a sun dress? Help!

I would go with the golf attire, slacks and a collared shirt. dont stress you will be OK. just have fun and always smile.

It’s a fundraiser, so don’t spend any money on outfits - donate that money. September in the Northeast… probably slacks and a collared shirt. Have fun.

Ask the organizer what would be appropiate. At the charity golf events I have gone to, the volunteers are usually wearing polo shirts embroidered with the event logo and golf shorts or slacks depending on the weather.
    Underwear optional
